Home Restoration Unlimited did a number of things. They repaired a wall that had been damaged from a leaking roof, took out shelving in an older bathroom and rebuilt the wall, and installed a new faucet and kitchen sink.
The repairs went well. The quality of the work was really good. When we went back to examine and we couldn't find any fault with anything. Whenever they encountered a problem, Home Restoration Unlimited made sure to check with us to tell us about the additional cost and see if we should continue.

Home Restoration Unlimited finished off the inside of my garage by insulating, drywalling, and painting. They also turned a first floor closet into a laundry facility. This was no easy task, as it was not a large closet. Home Restoration took care of all permits, wiring, plumbing, and flooring. The backside of the closet was also opened up for easier access to the backside of the stacked washer and dryer.
Both jobs went exceedingly well. Hal Goehrs has helped me on a number of home projects throughout the years. He is easy to work with, full of ideas, perceptive, thorough, and a real problem solver. Believe me, when an older home is involved, it's not that unusual to run into unexpected problems along the way and it's nice to have a contractor on board who can handle those headaches. Home Restoration Unlimited replaced the outside seal on all our first floor windows and replaced some of the existing wood around windows, which had rotted out. They installed a new storm door, replaced the existing wood around that, and did touch up painting. In our office, they did drywall repair and painting where a toilet had overflowed upstairs.
Both Hal Goehrs and his assistant did such a wonderful job with our home repair needs! They were always on time and extremely neat. Hal made sure to take the time to protect our personal items and clean up at the end of the day. He was very honest and I didn't feel like he was doing any unnecessary repairs. Hal and his assistant are very talented, and it shows in their quality of work! I would highly recommend his services!

I have used Home Restoration Unlimited since I moved into my house in 1996. My first contact with Home Restoration Unlimited was when I purchased my house. He repainted the interior walls for about $800.00. From that point on I used Home Restoration for remodeling an attic space (2000 at about a cost of $45,000 [new plumbing and electric) to house a Master Bedroom Suite which entailed raising part of the roof and adding a small balcony, remodeled Kitchen(2004 at a cost of about $15,000) entailing gutting all the cabinets adding a dishwasher and more electric and plumbing work, and remodeled a main floor bathroom (2005 at about $5,000) [These are approximate timeperiods and costs].

I strongly recommend Home Restoration Unlimited. Hal acted as a design consultant by listening to my needs, wants, desires as well as what my son would like to have seen and making suggestions that would work with the space and the budget. Every portion of construction was verified with his experts to make sure it was done correctly and would last a lifetime. During the times of construction, all of my belongings were protected, work areas were cleaned up of all dust and nails at the end of the workday and I felt they had a high work ethic by simply making sure every project was done right, done properly, done on time and done on budget. During each of the projects, I was kept informed of the progress and any barriers that had been overcome or needed to be overcome. Great thinker and out of the box problem solver!!! I have also used Home Restoration Unlimited for other smaller purposes such as changing locks, light plumbing, lighting, and many other things as well as holding my hand when emergency problems crop up like a backing up sewer! He was able to recommend the right people to solve the problem and was able to oversee this so the plumber and the sewer cleaners had access to the house while I was at work. I have been very comfortable allowing Home Restoration Unlimited to have full access to my home without my presence which I feel speaks very loudly about HRU's work ethic and overall character.

We hired Hal Goehrs of Home Restoration Unlimited, per the recommendation of our roofer, to repair plaster from a leak in the roof and paint the entire room.
Hal's work habits are meticulous and he does beautiful work. He moved all of the furniture to the middle of the room and cocooned our baby grand piano so that nothing would get into it or damage it. He has many talents and pays attention to detail. We have used him for several jobs and have been satisfied with every one!
